Plans are well in place for our second Vintage Fayre on March 11th, to be held in Abergavenny Market Hall. The hall itself will once again be full of gorgeous vintage stalls selling high quality clothes, furniture and homeware. We had some fantastic feedback last year, from visitors and stallholders alike, and we’re looking forward to an even bigger and better Fayre this time. Once again we’ll have 3 fashion shows during the day, so that you can see some of the fabulous clothes being worn, and there will also be some very special musical interludes….
Our vintage café , with beautiful vintage china and tablecloths, will once again provide a delightful break from all that shopping and browsing, and the children’s area will have textile based workshops for older children, plus a dressing up area for the younger ones. An exciting new stand this year will a display from Valley & Vale Arts where you’ll be asked to bring along any photos of you wearing an outfit you’ve had in the past. and there’ll be a chance to tell your ‘story’ and have it recorded for posterity!
